Probation and After-Care Service
The Probation Service’s priority is the protection of the people of Jersey. The Department works with the judicial system, the courts, Parish Halls, victims of crime and the community to help reduce criminal activity in Jersey. It does this in different ways: by offering support and information to victims of crime; by researching and producing reports to help Jersey’s courts in sentencing offenders and when the judicial process is concluded, by monitoring and working with offenders to reduce re-offending.
